RESEARCH FOCUS

My current research interests are taxonomics and systematics of Balsaminaceae and Rosaceae, Hydrangeaceae and other important flowering plants, including reconstruction of phylogenetic relationships using a range of experimental approaches, particularly DNA and morphological data, and investigation of temporal and spatial patterns of the diversification by using an integration of phylogenetic, biogeographic and molecular dating methods. Meanwhile, my current research work includes exploring the geographical distribution patterns and conservation priorities of plant diversity in China, as well as evaluation of invasion risk and early warning analysis of invasive alien plants.
